Summary:The identification of the current mode is a fundamental property for the hybrid systems. In several cases, it is difficult to identify the current mode. So the discernability between modes becomes an important subject which necessitates more attention. In fact, this property was discussed previously for hybrid system modeled by hybrid automaton. This paper aim to extend the Discernability's condition for another model of hybrid system which is the hybrid bond graph. The originality of this work consists of the adaptation of the Discernability's condition to the graphical feature of bond graph model.
