More Information
Summary:SINAI is a computer system for collecting, analysing, storing and accessing all the information generated by SCADA, digital protection and recording equipment about the incidents that happen in the electrical network. This paper presents the experiences that have been noted by IBERDROLA from last June to date, during the testing period. Of course, the authors hope that these results are worse than those which will be obtained in 1997 when the system will be completely finished and working. The results are analysed and compared with those obtained in the past with conventional tools. Because of a delay in the development of the project, this report has been written before the system will be in operation, which will happen next January. In the CIRED 97 conference that will be held in June, real operating data of the system will be provided. (4 pages)
