| Summary: | Rail surface damage is an important factor affecting the safe and smooth running of locomotive. How to detect the damage quickly and accurately is the research content of this subject. In this paper, the image processing technology is applied to the detection of rail surface image, through the fuzzy enhancement of the image to increase the contrast, improve the visual effect, and then extract the edge of the derailment surface through the gray mean variance ratio, finally using morphological method to detect the rail surface damage. MATLAB software to achieve the algorithm and image display. The research results can be applied to the damage detection of rail surface and have certain practical value. |
