Miniaturizing Fiber Bragg Grating Interrogators on Chip

We demonstrate an FBG interrogator based on a Mach-Zehnder interferometer, implemented on a silicon photonic chip. The device can detect signals of 1kHz, with a dynamic spectral resolution of 54 fm/Hz 1/2 .
