Summary:Ultra wideband (UWB) antenna is widely used in UWB communication, radar and electronic warfare in recent years. UWB antenna is indispensable in impulse radar, which transmits and receives short electromagnetic pulse signals, and preserves the waveform well. To detect and track moving-target, UWB time-domain antenna array is studied in this paper. Firstly, the theory of time-domain antenna array scan is analyzed, some useful conclusions are achieved. Then, an experiment system of UWB time-domain antenna array scan is built, which includes an antenna array, delay controller and other equipments. Finally, many experiment results are made to validate the theory of UWB time-domain antenna array scan.
