Summary:In recent years, along with the continuously expanded application fields of RFID, the system capability has been put into a higher level, and at the same time, the research of 2.4GHz active RFID system has attracted more and more attention. In this paper, the basic tag function and the partial hardware structure based on the low power 2.4GHz radio transceiver chip nRF24LEl are introduced briefly. By analyzing the limitations of conventional active RFID system, a new system using random frequency-hopping communication mode is designed. The communication mechanism and the advantages of the new system are discussed in detail. The study indicates that the system performance can be modified, such as in anti-collision, data traffic control and power control.
