Summary:The study's main goal was to create an online medical consultation and appointment system for children entitled "PedCon: A Pediatric Animated-Based Consultation and Appointment System using Lempel-Ziv- Welch Algorithm in Siniloan, Laguna". Specifically, this research aims to: 1) develop a children's medical platform with the following features: 1.1) online check-up appointments; 1.2) online consultation; 1.3) animated-based system; 2) integrate the Lempel-Ziv-Welch and K-anonymity algorithm; to provide a patient status monitoring system for the pediatric doctors, and 4) to assess the system as functionality and portability using test casing. The researchers applied the descriptive and developmental methods as the research design of the study. The researchers also used the Agile methodology in the development of the system. The system was successfully developed and proceeded with 35 test cases for the visitor's module, 120 test cases for the doctor's module, and 5 test cases for Admin modules such as the functionality test and portability test.
