Summary:The paper is devoted to an approach for multicriteria decision making under Z-information. Today there is no unique approach for ranking of Z-numbers and, accordingly, there is no unique approach for ranking of multicriteria alternatives under Z-information. There are different approaches for operating with Z-numbers (converting Z-numbers to crisp numbers, direct operation, operation based on α -cuts). Each of these approaches has its own disadvantage, therefore, additional research in this direction is objectively required. In the paper the authors suggested to operate with Z-numbers and rank them based on their aggregative segments. Under the conditions of Z-information this approach allows operating not only with discrete Z-numbers but with continuous Z-numbers, which are most often used for the expert information formalization. Therefore, the novel approach developed in the paper expands the possibilities of decision making under Z-information and provides new opportunities for choosing the best alternative in conditions of multicriteriality and a high degree of uncertainty.
