빛과 그림자 테마를 활용한 음악과 인문학 강의 분석

이 연구는 음악 전공자와 인문학 전공자의 코-티칭 융합교양 <음악과 인문학> 수업 과정 중‘빛과 그림자’ 테마로 진행한 강의 사례를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 한 학기 수업은 크게 꿈, 빛과 그림자, 희로애락, 열정의 테마로 진행되었다. 본 수업은 인문학적 기초 지식과 음악적 기초 이론을 학습하고 다양한 음악과 다른 장르 예술 작품들을 감상하며 음악적 형식과 인문학적 테마를 결합한 체험과 창작 활동을 하는 과정으로 구성되었다. 두 코티칭 교수자는 한 학기 과정의 수업을 공동으로 설계하고, 함께 수업에 참여하여 운영하고, 평가하고 학생들과 소통하였다. ‘빛과 그림자’ 테마 과정에서는 우선 이 테마가 상기시키는 기쁨과 슬픔, 긍정과 부정, 낮과 밤 등 삶의 대조적인 양면에 대해 다양한 시각적 작품들을 바탕으로 음미해보았다. 그리고 음악에서의 장조와 단조의 조성을 ‘빛과 그림자’ 테마와 연관시켜 장조와 단조 음악 작품들을 감상하며 그 느낌을 체험해보았으며, 빛과 그림자, 장조와 단조의 이분법적인 사고에 국한되지 않는 복합적이고 다양한 분위기의 작품들도 함께 감상함으로써 삶에 대해 보다 깊이 들여다보고자 하였다. 또한 ‘빛과 그림자’ 테마와 장조, 단조와 결합한 체험 활동으로 장조와 단조 알아맞히기와 곡에 맞는 한 도막 형식 가사 쓰기, 동일한 이미지들이 장조와 단조의 다른 분위기의 음악과 결부될 때 드는 느낌의 차이를 제목으로 표현하기, 마지막으로 주어진 악보에 빛과 그림자 테마로 음악적 글쓰기 창작 등의 활동을 하였으며 본 연구에서 우리는 학생들의 작품들의 예시들을 언어적, 인문학적 관점과 음악적 형식 관점에서 분석해보았다. 본 수업은 학생들로 하여금 자아와 삶에 대해 성찰할 수 있게 해주는 여러 가지 생각해볼 주제들과 연관된 음악과 다른 예술 작품들을 소개하여 풍부한 음악적 감성과 인문학적 소양을 함양함으로써 건강한 자아 정체감과 긍정적이고 열정적인 삶의 태도를 키워갈 수 있도록 안내해준 점에 그 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to analyze a lecture on the theme of 'light and shadow' during the co-teaching convergence liberal arts course of Music and Humanities. One semester class was largely on the theme of dream, light and shadow, emotions(joy, anger, sorrow, pleasure) and passion. In this class, basic knowledge of humanities and musical basic theory are studied, and various music and other genre art works are appreciated. It also consisted of experiences and creative activities that combine musical form and humanistic theme. The two professors jointly designed, co-operated and evaluated one semester class. In the process of 'The Light and Shadow' theme, we tried to appreciate the contrast between the two sides of life, such as joy and sorrow, positive and negative, day and night, reminiscent of the theme. Moreover, while appreciating the major key and minor key music works, we experienced the feeling by relating musical tonalities with the theme of ‘Light and Shadow’. We tried to look into life more deeply by admiring the complex and diverse works of art that are not limited to the dichotomous thought of major key and minor key. Finally, in this class, I made musical writing with the light and shadow theme on the given sheel music. In this study, we analyzed the students' writing examples from a linguistic point of view and a musical point of view. The significance of this class is to develop students' rich musical sensitivity and humanistic literacy by listening to music and other works of art about various themes of self and life, and to develop a healthy self-identity, positive and passionate attitude.
