In order to improve the service performance of network and reduce the rejection rate that customers access to the video resources in VOD systems, load balancing strategy that based on the analysis of the network flow prediction is proposed and BP-neural network algorithm is applied to analyze and predict the network flow. The results show that the method has some predictive ability and the prediction results are closed to the real data of the network flow basically.
