Summary:The early maturing variety of broccoli 'Qing-feng 103' was taken as the material in this experiment, in order to research the dynamic changes of photosynthetic character during the vernalization in broccoli. The result showed that the vernalization in the low temperature promoted photosynthesis in broccoli. With the process of vernalization, total chlorophyll mass ratio, the net photosynthetic rate (Pn), stomatic conductance (Gs) and intercellular CO(2) molar ratio (Ci) increased for the leaves of broccoli, explained the vernalization could accumulated more carbohydrate so as to offer more energy for the flower-bud differentiation after vernalization finish.
