Summary:The article reveals the essence and classification of legal guarantees in the field of employment. It is determined that legal (legal) guarantees in the field of employment of the population are understood as a system of legal means and/or methods enshrined in legal norms that ensure the implementation, protection and defense of the rights of an individual in the field of employment. It is established that, by scope, legal guarantees in the field of employment can be divided into: 1) national legal guarantees in the field of employment of the population; 2) international legal guarantees in the field of employment. International legal guarantees in the field of employment of the population can be divided into the following groups: legal guarantees in the field of employment contained in international (universal) legal acts; legal guarantees in the field of employment enshrined in European legal acts; guarantees in the field of employment contained in legal acts adopted by international organizations in the field of employment. If legal guarantees are determined at the national level, by legal force, legal guarantees in the field of employment are divided into: constitutional guarantees; guarantees provided for by codified regulatory legal acts; guarantees provided for by other Laws of Ukraine; guarantees contained in subordinate regulatory legal acts. It has been established that guarantees in the field of employment are provided for both by the Constitution of Ukraine (constitutional) and by the norms of labor law of Ukraine (industry). General legal guarantees in the field of employment can be divided into general (basic); special (additional). The system of general legal guarantees also includes institutional, procedural, material guarantees in the field of employment of the population. It is proposed to additionally classify legal guarantees in the field of employment of the population depending on the subject to which they apply into guarantees in the field of employment that apply to: citizens of Ukraine; foreigners and stateless persons permanently residing in Ukraine; persons recognized in Ukraine as refugees or persons in need of additional protection; persons granted asylum or temporary protection in Ukraine, as well as those who have received an immigration permit. Or, according to the legal status of participants in legal relations in the field of employment of the population, legal guarantees can be further divided into those that apply to: the unemployed; a person seeking work; citizens who have additional guarantees in promoting employment.
