Summary: | [...]the identification of grape varieties and subspecies and hybrid breeding of grape are subject to the backward research of molecular markers. [...]the development and application of molecular markers are conducive to the understanding and utilization of grape subspecies and variety resources and the improvement and breeding of new varieties with excellent economic characteristics. At present, a large number of studies have been conducted about SSRs derived from EST data in plants such as Triticum aestivum L [2- 31, Hordeum vulgare L[41, Fragariaxananassa[51, Citrus sinensis osbeckl6\ and Musa nana Lour© In this study, SSRs were identified based on all the protein-coding genes in grape. [...]GO annotation, KEGG annotation, domain analysis, and codon usage bias of SSR-containing genes were investigated. A large number of abiotic stress tolerance-related transcription factors were found, including eight hot shock transcript factors (Hsf)[13]. [...]there were many disease resistance-related transcription factors, including 39 NBS/ NB-ARC domain family members and 22 WRKY transcription factors[14-15]. The polymorphisms of these SSRs might cause differences in the phenotype, disease resistance, stress tolerance, and flavor content between different varieties. [...]clarifying the function of SSRs in these genes could provide basis for the development of SSR markersand research of QTLs controlling complex agronomic traits in grape. |
