Focusing on the current problems of students' self-learning, and aiming to make university library fully play its role in supporting students' self-learning ability, this research established a new university library management model from five aspects, including making library management policy, building abundant learning resource, expanding learning support service, creating well physical environment and enhancing librarians' capacity. And it also dis- cussed the key factors influencing the effectiveness of this model.
