The rapid development of the mobile Internet and mobile terminals has brought great impacts on people＇s lives, and will also promote a transformation in the Library Service. The article describes both the types and functions of mo- bile terminals, and introduces the characteristics of embedded subject service in the library. The advantages of mo- bile terminals used in embedded subject service are analyzed from the view of user needs and library services, and the countermeasures are put forward for the implementation of the embedded subject service, such as strengthening discipline integration of information resources, building subject service platform to be adapt for both PCs and mo- bile terminals, keeping abreast of the teaching and research needs in an academic community, and strengthening technical cooperation
