Based on the comments on rhetorical morphology of rhetoricians such as Chen Wangdao and Wu Shiwen and combined with the linguistic data of morphological spice, the authors propose the concept of fun of words, by which the connotation of morphological spice is extended. Besides, according to the formation, the fun of words is classified into four types by the stroke, part, extension and decoration. Furthermore, the psychological ba- sis and cultural origin of fun of words are explored.
