计算机内存的片内云架构

研究将云存储架构引入到计算机内存。提出了一种新型可堆叠连接的动态存储器SDDR,用作云存储的虚拟资源结点;开发了只写总线Wo B和统一结点接口UNI,前者是以太网特征的抽象,后者负责消息在设备和端口之间的无差错传输。任何设备或端口必须通过UNI连接到只写总线Wo B,从而建立了一种网络架构代替传统的计算机内存总线。在此基础上设计了SDDR存储阵列,实现扩容和并行访问。由m个SDDR结点挂接到Wo B总线上形成1路SDDR存储器,一个由n路SDDR存储器构成的阵列在实现m×n倍扩容的同时,可以实现n倍提速。...

Bibliography:The existing architecture of computer memory is not suitable to the development needs of the future multicores processor. At present,the virtual resource nodes of cloud storage does not yet involve for the computer memory,it merely includes the disk array or the server. This study tries to introduce the architecture of cloud storage into the field of computer memory. First,a new type of dynamic memory SDDR which can be stacked connection each other is put forward to serve as cloud storage virtualization resources. And then write-only bus( Wo B) and unified node interface( UNI) also are designed and actualized. The former is the abstraction of the transmission characteristics of the Ethernet,and the latter is responsible for the error free transmission of the message between the device and the port. A device or a port can be connected to the Wo B only when its connection is through an UNI.
