Bibliography:Serological identification of Salmonella in the large-scale pig farms of Haerbin, and analyzed the different Salmonella antimicrobial susceptibility testresults and drug resistance. Methods Up to 35 Salmonella strains were isolated from 600 feces in the rectal of pigs by morphological observation and biochemical system. The sensitivity tests of 35 strains to 10 Beta lactam antibacterials were performed by Krby-Bauer method. These microorganisms were further confirmed by correspond-ing specific bio-chemistry assay and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The reasults showed that the overall detection rate of Salmonella was 5.83%and the total rate of separation was from 3.3%to 18.3%in the different citys of Harbin. The resistant rate of 35 strains to ampicillin, ceftazidime, cefoxitin, piperacillin, cefotaxime, cefepime and aztreonam was 100%, 80%, 17%, 71%, 66%, 6 3% and 29%respectively. However, they were still sensitive to ertapenem, meropenem and imipenem. The results showed that Salmonella infections exist in pig
