促微管聚合蛋白家族的研究进展

促微管聚合蛋白（tubulin polymerization promoting proteins, TPPPs）家族是一类能与微管蛋白结合，从而促使微管聚集、维持微管系统稳定性和完整性的蛋白质，其在细胞有丝分裂纺锤体组装中发挥重要作用。目前已知该家族在人类基因组中有3个成员：TPPP/p25、TPPP2/p18和TPPP3/p20,其共同点是在C末端都包含一个保守的p25-α序列。TPPP1主要与神经系统疾病相关，如多发性硬化和多系统萎缩；TPPP3在许多肿瘤细胞中表达，与肿瘤的增殖密切相关；而TPPP2的研究相对较少。本文将主要阐述TPPP家族成员及其相关疾病的最新研究进展。...

Tubulin polymerization promoting proteins （TPPPs） can promote tubulin polymerization into microtubules and induce their bundling. They also function as the stabilization of microtubular network and play a crucial role in mitotic spindle formation. There are TPPP paralogs in the human genome： TPPP/p25, TPPP2/p18 and TPPP3/p20. The common C-terminal part of the 3 proteins is named as p25-α domain. TPPP1 is involved in the neurodegenerative disorders, such as multiple sclerosis
