The agronomy traits of 49 different potato onion （Allium cepa var. aggregatum） varieties from Heilongjiang, Jilin and Shandong Provinces were investigated. The results indicated the integrated traits performance of Jinlin2, Xilin, Dutou, Siliuban, Suiling and Lalin1 varieties were better than those of other varieties in terms of single bulbodium weight and yield per plant .They could be used as an excellent germplasm for breeding potato onion varieties. However, the integrated traits of Achengnanjiao and Sanhao performed poorly.
