Bibliography: | 23-1391/S tomato; Cladosporium fulvum; mechanism of interaction The interaction between plant and pathogens is a hot spot in the field of plant pathology in recent years, and the corresponding results establish the theoretic foundation for the plant resistance mechanism and resistance breeding.The specific interaction between tomato and fungus, Cladosporium fulvum had become the model system for studying the plant-pathogen interaction mechanisms.This paper reviewed the advances on the symptoms of the tomato leaf mold, interaction mechanism between tomato and Cladosporium fulvum including the mechanisms of the tomato infection, the immune system, and the interaction between resistance gene in tomato and avirulence gene in Cladosporium fulvum, and to further research problems were discussed and prospected.
