Bibliography:The construction and management of laboratories in universities are important to bring up qualified personnel with ability training and doing scientific research. With the continuous development of scientific laboratories, the requirement of functionality and normalization for construction became higher than before. Based on analyzing the characteristics of laboratory buildings, by combining the practice of constructing laboratories in Zhejiang University, some suggestions about construction management were given. By motivating the activities of participators, building the information base of user requirement, and strengthening information management, the design efficiency and quality can be improved. By summarizing the lessons of construction, improving the design details, including standardized design, safety protection facilities, water supply and drainage, electric, air-conditioning and ventilation systems, the management level can be enhanced.
