This paper tidied up and summarized the testing methods standard for cereal elements based on the internal and external standards, including the Standardization Administration of the People＇s Republic of China （ SAC ）, International Organization for Standardization （ISO）, Association of Official Analytical Chemists （AOAC） and the European Committee for Standardization （CEN）. The paper also introduced the application of relevant technologies in testing elements, and prospected the orientation for future development of these testing standards.
