Bibliography:Objective To study the cost and effect of omeprazole and pantoprazole for treating peptic ulcer hemorrhage. Methods Eighty cases of peptic ulcer hemorrhage in the gastroenterology department of our hospital from March 2013 to October 2015 were selected for conducting analysis and divided into the control group and observation group,40 cases in each group. The control group was added with omeprazole based on the conventional treatment, while the observation group were given pantoprazole by intravenous drip on the basis of routine therapy. The hospital stays, bleeding amount, hemostatic time, changes of blood routine indexes before and after treatment, treatment effect, incidence of complications and daily treatment cost were compared between the two groups. Results The hospital stays, bleeding amount and hemostatic time of the control group were higher than those of the observation group, moreover the improvement levels of hemoglobin level, red blood cell count, platelet count and improving degree of blood cell
