In order to promote the sustainable development of Guizhou Caohai plateau wetland, improve the water environment and restore the wetland functions of Caohai nature reserve. The characteristics of water quality of Caohai in rainy and dry season were analyzed, and the first rank water defined in "Environmental quality standard for surface water" was used as a basis to evaluate the water quality of Caohai the integrated pollution index was studied. The results indicate that: during dry season and rainy season, nearly all monitoring indexes were different. For example,DO,permanganate index,TP,TN,ammonia nitrogen, and BOD,they all showed significant related relationship.the integrated water evalua
