With the development of the rural economy, the peasants＇ living standard keeps rising, the life-style becomes urbanization and modernization, Widespread high-carbon consumption and predatory development mode of agriculture and industry go against the strategic objectives of sustainable development. They have become the barrier of the rural economy, so it＇s urgent to develop rural low-carbon economy. This paper made some research of the approaches of rural low-carbon economic development from agricultural and industrial production, residents＇ consumption, energy resource, construction industry, traffic, and carbon sink.
