With the deep development of Chinese market economy,most regions in southern Jiangsu faced economic development issues and land constraints.In the other side,serial problems appeared such as polluted ecological environment and over-consumed natural resources.Taking the landscape optimization and suitable land utilization scheme of the agricultural ecological region in the south of Lingang new district in Jiangyin city as a case study,the application and practice of modern agricultural planning theory were analyzed.This research could provide a reference for modern agricultural planning in China.
