Identification biological characteristics on the Cordana leaf spot in Yunnan were carried out by pathogenicity test and morphologic observation. The results showed that the optimum temperature and pH for mycelia growth were 28 ℃ and pH 7, respectively; the whole light treatments was beneficial to mycelium growth; the fungus grew better in sucrose as carbon source and in yeast extract as nitrogen source media; the mycclia growth was better in the culture medium of PDA and PSA; the optimum culture medium and temperature for sporulation were PDA, PSA and 25 ℃, respectively; and the lethal temperature for the mycelium was 70 ℃ for remaining 30 minutes.
