Bibliography: | 44-1267/S With the rapid development of agricultural intensive cultivation, the production of agricultural wastes has increased dramatically. Fruit and vegetable wastes including waste of navel orange, as a good biomass energy feedstock, have a certain potential of anaerobic digestion for energy production. This paper reviewed and compared the treatment technique of fruit and vegetable wastes. It was concluded that co-digestion of of waste navel orange with high-nitrogen content wastes by using continuous one-stage systems was a promising alternative.
