基于FPGA的自由立体显示系统光学引擎设计

实现了一种用于自由立体显示系统的光学引擎。该系统采用FPGA作为控制处理器,通过RS232串口与DSP瞳孔跟踪模块实时通信,并根据液晶面板同步信号控制大功率LED驱动电路实现对应瞳孔坐标的指向性照明。该系统与目前基于单片机的光学引擎比较,在成本提升很小的前提下具有能够精确控制时序、同步性更好、适应更大规模的LED驱动电路等优势,提高了系统的稳定性和可升级性,具有良好的应用前景。...

A backlight system for auto-stereoscopic display monitor is proposed in this paper. The system uses FPGA as the maiH controller, receives walcher's pupil position data from DSP via RS2332 serial port and provides the directional lighting accord- ing to the synchronization signal from LCD panel and pupil coordinates. Compared with the current backlignt system based on SCM, this system can provide more accurate timing controls and better synchronization with very small increase in the system cost. The system can adapl to larger LED controller arrays with its good scalability and stability,which means a bright prospect in application.
