| Bibliography: | 23-1202/TH According to the power factor distributed compensation system design based on the RS485 bus,this paper made an exposition of the principle of the reactive power compensation control and that of the distributed compensa-tion,and designed the hardware and software of the master - slave machine based on the single chip microcomputer. In accordance with the principle of optimal repair,a certain percentage of the capacitor banks were configurated,the network address and capacity of each capacitor were detected by the controller. According to the reactive power nee-ding compensating,a set of compensation mode,which was closest to but not more than the compensation capacity, was chosen among all groups of capacitor combinations to compensate.
