High-resolution images of a stationary scene enabling the detection of moving targets can be provided by an SAR system combined with Ground Moving Target Indication (GMTI), which is widely used in many civilian applications. A multichannel in azimuth HRWS SAR system has been presented to effectively deal with conflicts between high resolution and low Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF), which are encountered during HRWS SAR imaging.
