A frequency regulation method of wind-PV-ES hybrid micro-grid system based on adaptive droop control is proposed. Firstly, the wind-PV-ES hybrid micro-grid system model is established with giving the third-order model of energy storage. Dynamic output strategy of wind turbine and PV power generation is determined with considering the operating states, charge and discharge power of energy storage. The adaptive droop control method is proposed, which adjusts the droop coefficients of micro-source adaptively with considering power margins. The effectiveness of proposed method is demonstrated by case studies.
