Some Astrometric and Kinematic Characteristics of the M67 Open Cluster

Summary:We determined some characteristics of the M67 open cluster based on two sources of data, the PPMXL and Yadav catalogs. We used the convergent point method algorithm to determine some astrometric parameters such as the vertex, velocity, and distance of the cluster. The results compare well with other publications. Additionally, we calculated some kinematic properties (based on the space velocity components) of the cluster and the solar motion using vector and matrix analysis expressions.
