On the Use of Multiantenna Radars for Spaceborne Doppler Precipitation Measurements
We propose the use of multiantenna radars for precipitation measurement from moving platforms. The primary motivation is measurement of vertical motion from spaceborne radars. Preliminary analysis of the concept and application to a specific example indicate that such a system would be feasible
