Summary: | We derive some new coupled fixed point theorems for nonlinear contractive maps that satisfied a generalized Mizoguchi-Takahashi's condition in the setting of ordered metric spaces. Presented theorems extends and generalize many well-known results in the literature. As an application, we give an existence and uniqueness theorem for the solution to a two-point boundary value problem.
