Chylopericardium Presenting with Tamponade and Cardiogenic Shock

We are presenting a rare case of cardiogenic shock caused by chylopericardium. After the initial pericardial drainage and failed conservative treatment, thoracic duct ligation was performed with good long‐term outcome. Literature on the subject is reviewed.. (J Card Surg 2010;25:522‐523)
