| Summary: | We present a further development of theoretical modeling of photo-induced lens formation in polymerizable matrix containing quantum dots (QDs), to take into account also the shrinkage effect by advancing the model of void formation. The intensity dependence of the photopolymerization rate is considered along with the induced diffusion of monomers and QDs, as well as the change of the concentration of voids. The monomer, polymer, and QDs concentrations as well as the effective refractive index of the resulting composite material are calculated subject to the formation of voids in the cell. The challenges, related to this approach, are outlined, and the focal power of the photoinduced lens is calculated. |
