Summary:Eissa presents a discussion on the paper "An algorithm for sensitive directional transverse differential protection with no voltage inputs," by M. Forcan and Z. Stojanovid. A directional transverse differential protection algorithm with no voltage input, specifically "directed to radial networks with low consumption or with no consumption (open circuit)" presented in the paper is discussed, as to the best of their understanding it is very difficult to find in the article further improved protection characteristics with respect to the algorithm previously published, or to infer from disadvantages of such a previously presented algorithm.
