More Information
Summary:The vessel sealing system (Ligasure) is a surgical method ; it involves ligating vessels up to 7 mm in diameter, applying a precise amount of pressure and energy to the tissue, transforming the collagen and elastin within the vessel walls to create a permanent seal, and leaving minimal thermal spread and limited tissue adhesion and charring during the operation. The authors' trial of Ligasure reduced blood loss, operative time, post-operative pain, and hospital stay. Hemorrhoidectomy by Ligasure is a useful treatment choice for hemorrhoids with no remarkable accessory hemorrhoids because of its simple procedure and certain result.
