Summary:We have experienced a case of pediatric ophthalmoplegic migraine. A 10-years-old boy had had a headache and nausea in February 2005. Three days later, he has noted a left blepharoptosis and diplopia. He had had a third nerve palsy when he was three years old. Therefore we have diagnesd him as an ophthalmoplegic migraine. A brain MRI showed an enhancement of the oculomotor nerve at the exit of the brainstem. We support the inflammatory cause for the ophthalmoplegic migraine
