In den letzten Jahren hat sich die Datenbasis verbessert, sodass nun einige gesicherte Empfehlungen für die Anwendung des Ultraschalls bei der Primärdiagnostik sowie einige weiterführende Empfehlungen zur Ergänzung der Röntgenbildgebung ausgesprochen werden können. Der Nutzen der Sonographie liegt, v. a. im Wachstumsalter, sowohl in der röntgenfreien Diagnostik und Therapiesteuerung (handgelenksnahe Frakturen, Klavikulafrakturen) als auch in der Verbesserung der Diagnostik (proximale Humerusfrakturen) und in der Vermeidung unnötiger Strahlenbelastung (Ellenbogen, Eingrenzung ROI, Stellungskontrolle, Diagnostik bei Schwangeren). |
