Neutral hydrogen observations of a ROSAT deep survey field at RA 10h07m, Dec. 53

We present observations of 1200 neutral hydrogen spectra measured over a 2° × 6° field, centered at RA 10h07m00s, Dec. 53°, which is currently the subject of a ROSAT deep field survey. The column densities measured range from 0.4 to 1.3 × 1020 cm–2, and significant changes in velocity structure are...

Summary:We present observations of 1200 neutral hydrogen spectra measured over a 2° × 6° field, centered at RA 10h07m00s, Dec. 53°, which is currently the subject of a ROSAT deep field survey. The column densities measured range from 0.4 to 1.3 × 1020 cm–2, and significant changes in velocity structure are seen. The northern part of the field (i.e., > 52°) shows systematically lower column densities than does the southern part.
