Summary:An approach to exploring the potential of artificial intelligence to improve media literacy in the context of information technology education is presented, with a focus on recognizing fake news and misinformation. Real-life educational activities are described, in which students actively use artificial intelligence to create content, visual elements, and analyze information. Results from a conducted study through surveys and observation are presented, showing high awareness and interest in artificial intelligence among students, while also revealing concerns about ethics and the potential risks of excessive dependence on technology.
