지방 디자인학부 교과과정에 대한 만족도 조사 - 동서대를 중심으로

본 연구는, 한국학술연구재단으로부터 ‘우수사업단’으로 선정되었으며 ‘2018년 대학 특성화사업 종합평가’ 전체 2위에 해당하는 “B등급”을 받는 ‘동서대학교 ‘혁신적 융복합 루트교육을 통한 가치창조 디자인 인재양성사업단에서 실시한 디자인학부 교과과정 특성화의 1,2차년도(2015~2016)에 대한 설문을 통해 특성화 교과과정에 대한 정당성을 확인하는 작업이었다. 물론 지방대학 특성화에 대한 가장 좋은 결과지표로는 취업률이 있지만취업률에 준하는 평가로써 학부과정의 교육만족도에 관심을 갖었던 것이다. 왜냐하면 먼저 교육만족도는 달리말하면 학습효과인데 이것을 향상시키기 위해서 가장 필요한 것은 학습 동기에 의한 몰입이다. 결국 ‘몰입도의상승’이 곧 교육만족도라고 생각된다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 2가지의 연구가설을 설정하여 디자인학부 교육과정 만족도 조사를 실시하였던 것이다. 연구가설 1, 디자인 학부 교육은 학업능력 향상에 기여할 것이다. 연구가설 2, 디자인 학부 교육은 취업과 창업에 도움을 줄 것이다. 그리하여 설문결과 동서대학교 디자인대학 학부교육만족도 조사에서 1) 1차년도에 평균 3.46에서 2차년도에는 3.90을 만족도가 상승하였음을 알 수 있었다. 2) 디자인학부 교과과정에서는 디자인 기초역량을 함양시킬 수 있는 과목으로 ‘기초조형’, ‘그래픽 디자인’을 들수 있다. 3) 동서대 CK-1 디자인학부 교과과정의 특징으로는 윤민희와 문찬의 연구에서도 볼 수 있듯이, 시각화된 조사방법과 비언어적으로는 프레젠테이션을 통한 커뮤니케이션 방법을 습득”하기 위하여 ‘서베이 앤 커뮤니케이션(Survey & Communication)‘과목을 개설하여 이미지의 시각화를 통한 커뮤니케이션 능력과 역량 함양에 주안점을 두는 특성화 교과과정을 운영하였다. 그리하여 동서대 CK-1 사업단은 ‘한국디자인진흥원 KIDP’ 에서 실시한 ‘디자인 사업 동향 분석’에서 일반 업종별 대학 디자인 교육 기여도에서도 볼 수 있듯이, 학부교육과 전공심화과정인 루트교과과정을 특성화하여 여타 대학의 교과과정과는 다른 특성화된 교과과정을 운영하고있음을 확인 할 수 있었다. This study aim is to confirm the validity of the curriculum of design department course in the Dongseo ‘CK-1 Value-Creative Design Education Project’ through survey as selected 'Excellent Project Team' by ‘National Research Foundation of Korea’. Of course, The best indicator of the specialization of local universities is the employment rate. but I was interested in the educational satisfaction of the undergraduate course as an evaluation based on the ‘employment rate’. Because of educational satisfaction is learning effect, What is most needed to improve this is immersion by learning motivation. The 'rise of commitment' is the educational satisfaction. Thus, in this study, two research hypotheses were set up to conduct a satisfaction survey on the curriculum. hypothesis 1, Design education will contribute to improving Design ability. hypothesis 2, Design education will help employment and start up. The results of the survey showed that 1) the satisfaction rate of the design department of education at Dongseo Univ., was 3.46 in the first year and 3.90 in the second year. 2) In the undergraduate curriculum of the Design Univ.,, subjects such as 'basic molding' and 'graphic design' can be taught to enhance the basic skills of design. 3) The curriculum of Dongseo University CK-1 is charactered, "Survey & Communication" courses were opened to acquire visualized research methods and non-verbal communication methods through presentations. And Survey & Communication 'course, which is a specialization curriculum focusing on communication ability and capacity building through image visualization. Therefore, Dongseo University has characterized the ‘design department course’ & Root curriculum, and it is confirmed that it operates a specialized curriculum different from the curriculum of other universities.
