Abstract The system can have a circuit including an output, an electrical signal source electrically connected to the output, and a meter electrically connected to the output, the circuit having a characteristic impedance being fixed; and an antenna electrically connected to the output of the circuit for receiving the source signal, the antenna having a near field and an antenna impedance, the antenna impedance matching with the characteristic impedance of the circuit when driven by the source signal, when a region of interest of the living subject is within a near field of the antenna and when the antenna is electrically insulated from the region of interest.
