| Abstract | The present application relates to a subject fall detection method and apparatus, a millimeter wave radar, a computer readable storage medium, and a computer program product. The method comprises: acquiring an echo signal formed after an electromagnetic wave emitted by the millimeter wave radar is reflected by an object; performing Fourier transform processing and clustering analysis on the echo signal to obtain point cloud data of a target subject; performing signal intensity analysis on the point cloud data according to position information and signal intensity information in the point cloud data, and determining the position of the centroid of a point cloud cluster corresponding to the point cloud data; calculating a feature angle of the centroid relative to a feature point on the basis of the position of the centroid; and determining a fall detection result of the target subject according to a change condition of the feature angle.
