Abstract The invention provides a supercritical carbon dioxide oil-in-oil emulsion thickener as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (a) putting vinyl-terminated silicone oil, hexafluorobutyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, divinyl benzene, an initiator, an emulsifier, cyclohexane and 65-75% of ethylene glycol in a container, and performing high-speed shearing for 25-35 minutes to obtain a pre-emulsion; (b) adding the remaining ethylene glycol and 4-6% of pre-emulsion of the step (a) into a drying three-mouth flask equipped with a stirrer, a condenser and a dropping funnel, heating to 50-80 DEG C while stirring, and preserving heat for 25-40 minutes; (c) dropwise adding the remaining pre-emulsion, and reacting for 5-25h; and (d) cooling to room temperature to obtain the product.
