Abstract With the rapid advancement of information technology, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), as a non-contact automatic identification technology, has garnered widespread application and attention globally due to its efficient, accurate, and real-time data acquisition capabilities. Notably, in the pivotal domains of smart transportation and smart logistics, the introduction of RFID technology has not only substantially enhanced operational efficiency but also accelerated the transition of these industries towards greater intelligence and automation. The defining characteristic of scenarios such as smart transportation and smart logistics lies in the real-time identification and acquisition of information from multiple user terminals. When applying RFID technology to identify terminal information, readers need to recognize multiple, even ultra-large-scale tags within a very short period. Since tags share the wireless communication channel and operate independently, signal aliasing is inevitable. In the absence of effective anti-collision techniques, the recognition efficiency of the entire system would be severely compromised. This paper systematically investigates and compares existing anticollision algorithms, leveraging the MATLAB simulation platform to analyze and contrast the Q-algorithm with parameter C from the ISO 18000-6C standard and the Q-selection-based anti-collision algorithm employed in the EPC C1G2 standard. It summarizes their respective advantages and disadvantages and proposes research directions for anti-collision algorithms.
