Abstract_FL Carbon nanotubes(CNTs),as one-dimensional nanomaterials,have excellent electrical,thermal and mechanical properties,and are widely used as reinforcing agents for composite materials.Herein,the electrical and mechanical properties of different types of hybrid structure based on carbon nanotubes are reviewed,i.e.,carbon/particles,carbon nanotube/fiber,carbon nanotube/pieces of foam layer,carbon nanotube/lightweight materials,where the underline mechanism for the enhancement of the electrical and mechanical properties are analyzed,in together with the advantages of different hybrid structures.The present review shed lights on the construction and design of carbon nanotube-based hybrid materials in the future.
